I custom ordered a 2026 BMW X5 M60i, and while I was excited to take delivery of a brand-new vehicle, the experience has been disappointing.
Upon delivery, the vehicle had several interior cosmetic defects that should have been caught during the pre-delivery inspection. The cup holder flap was gashed and scratched along both edges, and the chrome dashboard trim had two deep, highly visible gouges along with multiple hairline scratches that were especially noticeable in the sunlight.

Person checking us in just required to do too much. He also had to get and process a loaner while other customers just had to wait. Appropriate staffing appears to be an issue. A separate person needs to be processing the loaners and a separate person should be removing the cars after they,are checked in and bringing in the loaners.

However, they were not able to find the cause of the engine code that caused the car to fail to shift Into gear. so it’s a bit worrisome that I will be stranded again. I was still charged an hourly rate for diagnosis even as the root cause was not determined.
